Special Session 7: AI/ML Hardware, Signal Processing and Next-Generation Computing

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence, real-time inference, large-scale data processing, and generative AI applications, AI/ML systems are facing increasing demands in efficiency, adaptability, latency, energy consumption, and deployment flexibility. These challenges have promoted the development of AI/ML hardware, intelligent signal processing, efficient learning algorithms, design automation, and next-generation computing technologies. This special session focuses on AI/ML hardware, signal processing, and next-generation computing, covering both hardware implementation and algorithmic innovation for intelligent systems. It provides a forum for researchers working on efficient AI models, signal and data processing, electronic design automation, circuit and system optimization, edge intelligence, and emerging computing platforms. Particular emphasis is placed on the integration of algorithms, circuits, architectures, signal processing, and computing systems to support efficient, adaptive, and deployable intelligent applications.

Topics:

  1. Analog/mixed-signal computing
  2. AI accelerators based on FPGA
  3. Near-memory and in-memory computation
  4. Neuromorphic computing
  5. Reconfigurable processors and accelerators
  6. HW and systems for generative AI applications (LLMs, diffusion models)
  7. Audio and acoustic signal processing based on AI
  8. Image, video, and multidimensional signal processing based on AI
