| Special Session 6: Advanced coding and signal processing techniques in modern communication and storage systems |
Nowadays, emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud computing have posed stringent requirements on the reliability of modern communication and storage systems, which makes coding and signal processing techniques indispensable. Meanwhile, the evolution of these technologies has also greatly prompted the development of coding and signal processing techniques. This special session focuses on the recent developments, key challenges, and future trends in coding and signal processing techniques that can be applied in modern communication and storage systems. High-quality research papers that address theoretical and practical aspects in these domains are welcome. The topics of the special section include, but are not limited to, the following.
Topics:
- Classical error correction codes
- Modern error correction codes
- Analog error correction codes
- AI-based coding schemes
- Intelligent signal processing
- Advanced modulation and demodulation
- Iterative detection and decoding
