Special Session: Algorithm Applications in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

AI algorithms are finite sequences of rigorous instructions that enable machines to process data and perform tasks that typically require human intelligence. These tasks include knowledge learning and representation, reasoning, problem solving, planning, decision making, perception, natural language processing, and so on. AI algorithms are the backbone of AI systems. The session invites authors to contribute algorithmic innovations, algorithm application innovations or algorithm surveys in the fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Yinghua Zhou is an associate professor at the Department of Intelligence Science and Technology, School of Artificial Intelligence, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications. He is also a senior member of China Computer Federation and a senior member of Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence. His research areas include computer algorithms, artificial intelligence, computational intelligence, machine learning, data mining and big data analysis. He has published about 40 academic papers in related fields. He has 7 national patents of inventions.
