Mandate
The ICCC Energy Committee will provide constructive pathway for co-operation in the field of energy between Canada and India by promoting and facilitating businesses in the energy sector.
To explore, understand and identify various fields of cooperation in various aspects of energy sector namely - Types, Fuels, Generation, Transmission, Distribution, Revenue, Technology, Research and development, Energy trading, and also the Consumer, so as to identify core areas of cooperation and synergy.
To facilitate nurturing of co-operation amongst such entities on both sides and also the maturing of such co-operation into fruitful businesses.
To create bridge and connect decision makers and policy makers on both the sides so that a practical and positive environment is made for such business ties to grow, resulting in increase in bilateral trade in the energy sector.
