Young Professionals
Objective
To foster teamwork and integrity among young Indo-Canadians and to provide these future leaders with the skills and support it takes to put them at the forefront of entrepreneurial and professional endeavors.
What is YP (Young Professionals' Committee)?
• Formed in 2001, we are a sub-committee of the ICCC, dedicated to creating opportunities for networking and knowledge sharing across our diverse demographic.
• Our team is comprised of highly motivated, enthusiastic Young Professionals
• We work in various industries in different parts of the GTA and bring our expertise and unique skill sets to the YP team
• We work hard to ensure that we create the best experiences for our member base
Who is a YP?
• A Young Professional is a career-oriented individual, seeking opportunities for professional growth and to strengthen his or her business/professional network.
• Young Professionals exist across all business and employment sectors.
• Generally, the age of a Young Professional is between 23 and 35, although this may vary.
What do we offer?
• We host a wide range of events throughout the calendar year
• We create a platform for business leaders to share their valuable knowledge and experiences
• We serve as a forum for interactive discussions, networking, and knowledge sharing
• We connect young professionals to each other and to the business community
• We listen to our members and bring them events they want to see, with the issues they want addressed, involving the people they want to meet
• We're a fun, open-minded, and inclusive group that encourages new members to come out and participate!
