Objective

To increase the dialogue and improve relations between Canada and India in matters related to Energy. As a resource-rich nation, Canada has long been recognized as one of the leading providers of resources and development of technologies in the energy sector. India, with its tremendous economic growth in the past decade, is moving fast on the road to become an economic powerhouse. This prosperity, coupled with India’s large population base, means that India has both the requirement for increased use of energy as well as the potential to develop and implement the means to generate such energy. ICCC‘s Energy Committee believes that it will serve the interests of both Canada and India to work together in the Energy sector.
