Pravasi Bharatiya Divas




The Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce
is proud to lead a delegation to
the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2010
in New Delhi from January 7 to January 9.

Asha Luthra, ICCC President, along with board of directors and chairs of committees, and several members are joining the delegation.

The Canadian High Commission will hold a reception for the ICCC delegates on January 6, 2010, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Club Canada, Nyaya Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi 110 021.

Your Chamber has also organised a roundtable conference in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) on January 7, 2010. The theme of the roundtable is "Fostering India - Canada Trade: Role of SMEs". The roundtable will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Jacaranda, India Habitat Centre, Lodi Road, New Delhi 110 003.

Harinder Thakar, Minister of Government Affairs, Government of Ontario, will be the Guest of Honour at the roundtable. The program of the roundtable is attached to this message.

Moreover, we invite you to give your suggestions or questions about the SME sector (in Canada as well as in India) that may be raised at the roundtable's panel discussion or during the Q&A session.

Asha Luthra and the Chamber's officials will be calling upon Mr. Vayalar Ravi, Minister of Overseas Indian Affairs, Government of India, and Mr. Mario Ste-Marie, Minister (Commercial) and Senior Trade Commissioner, Canadian High Commission New Delhi, during their visit to New Delhi.
